Lumber Products
SPF (Spruce-Pine-Fir)
Pound for pound, fibre for fibre, spruce lumber has the highest weight to strength ratio, making it an attractive solution for various projects, including interior and exterior construction work. Its straight grain means strength and resiliency, making it ideal for structural applications. The straight grain is a result of its slow and consistent growth. We stock multiple dimensions and lengths.
Plywood
Plywood panels are built up from multiple layers or plies of softwood veneer that are glued together so that the grain direction of each layer of veneer is perpendicular to that of the adjacent layers. Plywood panels have superior dimensional stability, two-way strength and stiffness properties and an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. They are also highly resistant to impact damage, chemicals, and changes in temperature and relative humidity.
